I did cleaning both by Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware Se Personal, I have Norton Internet Security and Windows Auto Update. So I gave my test user account full control access to the entire structure and now my test account is working. It might have been the First Aid, but I am putting my money on the Google Toolbar. I had the same error message, and indeed, uninstalling the Google toolbar fixed it ! Is there a fix? It pretty much restores everything to factory defaults. Other benefits of registering an account are subscribing to topics and forums, creating a blog, and having no ads shown anywhere on the site.
